OneiroPraxis Exhibition & Performance (Hastings UK) & Occulture Conference (Berlin)

Painting on poster is a work in progress collaboration between Orryelle and Melisssa Shemanna
Orryelle performing at the Private View of OneiroPraxis

There has been such a flurry of exhibitions and performances in the last few months that I have failed to even promote several of them here. While the Opening/ Private View of ‘OneiroPraxis’ has passed, however the work of visionary painter Melissa Shemanna and myself remains up in the Hastings Museum and Gallery until the 29th of October, with a special Closing event ‘The Bliss of New Tongues & Eyes’ on Friday the 27th:

Dionysian Ecstasy from Visual & Vibrational Intoxication

With oration, poetry, violin and voice (through loops and FX), this presentation by Orryelle veers from talk into performancy with song and butoh dance, also incorporating film.

An exploration of the magic of language, the mysteries of the serpent and sundering of the head from pineal activation through visual or sonic focus. As the veils grow thin for Samhain (old pagan name of Halloween), death and dream are considered as portals betwixt the realms.

Oneiromantic journeys and Visionary epiphanies consolidate to OneiroPraxis, as winged eye alights in the painters’ hands

The Hermetic and Orphic Mysteries re-converge with the Dionysian Mysteries in paroxysms of bliss.

MythOneiric Gateways

Melissa Shemanna offers a guided creative visualisation across the threshold of conscious awareness into Oneiric Portals to reclaim (inter)personal dreaming and ignite the living myth.
